5 most valuable U-23 players in Thai League 1 revealed
=2) Kevin Deeromram – Port FC – €250,000
The 21-year-old left-back finds himself as one of the five U-23 players with the highest market value in the Thai League right now. Kevin who was born in Sweden and represented the European nation at the youth level is currently one of the key players for his club as they find themselves at the summit of the league with 14 points from seven games. The former Ratchaburi Mitr Phol FC man made his international debut for Thailand senior national team in 2017 is currently looking to win a place in the Changsuek squad with some pretty impressive displays in the league.
=2) Worachit Kanitsribampen – Chonburi FC – €250,000
Worrachit has seen his stock rise from€175,000 to €250,000 in the latest update as the 21-year-old attacking midfielder has established himself in the first-team plans at Chonburi FC. The Sharks’ No. 8 has been a regular for Thailand’s U-23 national team since 2015 and helped them win the gold at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. He also captained the Thailand U-19s to the AFF U-19 Championship crown back in 2015. It looks like it is only a matter of time before the 2018 FA Thailand Young Player of the Year establishes himself as a key cog in the Changsuek senior set up.
=2) Supachai Jaided – Buriram United – €250,000
Supachai has already established himself as a regular in the Thailand senior national team despite turning 20 only last December. He was won 12 caps for the Changsuek so far and found the back of the net four times including at the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Supachai also has two Thai League titles with Buriram in his fledgling professional career. It looks like the sky is the limit for the lanky Thai striker.
=2) Supachok Sarachat – Buriram United – €250,000
Supachok, along with Supachai, has added young blood to the Buriram squad in recent years. And the former has gone on to play a leading role at the Thunder Castles since his Thai League debut back in 2015. The 20-year-old has already played over 70 domestic matches for Buriram and scored 14 goals in total — including scoring the winning goal against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in an AFC Champions League 2019 group match last month. He is yet to win a regular role in the Thailand senior team, however with the 2020 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers on the horizon, it would be foolish for the new national team coach to not included the Buriram youngster in his plans.
1) Aung Thu – Muangthong United – €350,000
Myanmar superstar Aung Thu is the costliest U-23 star in the Thai League at the moment with the Muangthong United striker valued at a price of €350,000 by Transfermarkt. Aung Thu has established himself as a legend in the Myanmar national team and made a loan move to the Kirins from Yadanarbon FC in December 2018. However, the fortunes of the club hasn’t been great since his arrival with Muangthong finding themselves second form bottom of the Thai League with five defeats from seven games. However, the 22-year-old will be hoping his team can regain their form under new South Korean head coach Yoon Jong-hwan.

The 46-year-old was last seen catching J.League outfit Cerezo leaving them in November 2018. He has also managed Japanese clubs Sagan Tosu and Ulsan Hyundai after donning the role of a coach in 2008.
The club had parted ways with their head coach Pairoj Borwonwatanadilok recently after the club’s disastrous start to the new campaign. The Kirins are second form bottom of the table having lost five of their first seven games in the Thai domestic league.

It is learnt that Yoon has already agreed terms with the Thai League outfit and his announcement as the new head coach is imminent. The coach made 40 appearances for the Korea Republic national team between 1994 and 2002 and plied his trade as a professional footballer with the likes of Cerezo, Sagan Tosu and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
Muangthong suffered their fifth defeat of the season after falling prey to Nakhon Ratchasima FC 3-1 the other day. They will now play table toppers Port FC in their next league fixture on April 20.
